Mayor Jane Castor praises Hotel Haya

What a great night! I was honored to serve as Master of Ceremonies on behalf of Hotel Haya owned by the Aparium Group out of Chicago.

The intimate gathering at the Don Vincente was the vision of Hotel Haya’s amazing general manager, Pablo Molinari.

The star guest list included  Tampa’s mayor, Jane Castor  along with CEO of Visit Tampa Bay Santiago Corrada.

The leaders, both tremendous assets of Tampa Bay, acknowledged and praised Hotel Haya, Ybor City’s first boutique hotel.

“Ybor City is rich in history and tradition and has many landmarks that define this great neighborhood,” said Mayor Jane Castor. “I look forward to the significant economic impact this boutique destination will bring and the diverse and eclectic visitors and residents who will come to Hotel Haya and Ybor City for vacation, nightlife and entertainment.”

Santiago Corrada, CEO of Visit Tampa Bay said “Hotel Haya is a wonderful addition to Ybor City, honoring the unique history and authentic culture of Tampa Bay’s iconic Latin Quarter. By naming the hotel after Ignacio Haya, whose company rolled the first cigar in Ybor City more than 130 years ago, Aparium Hotel Group has rooted its beautiful new property firmly in the community. We look forward to working together for many years to come.”

The hotel is set to open in Spring of 2020.
